In this remote role, you will report to our Planning & Team Operations Lead

 

You will:

  • Act as the primary technical owner and subject-matter specialist for Waymo's Anaplan platform, managing our Test, Dev, Prod, and Data Hub environments
  • Partner with stakeholders across Operations (Infrastructure, Commercial, Vehicle, and Testing) to design, build, and deploy new planning solutions directly within Anaplan
  • Drive the enhancement and maintenance of existing Anaplan models to support market expansion and evolving business needs
  • Manage and optimize data flows between Anaplan and our internal data warehouse (PLX) to ensure data integrity for internal reporting
  • Proactively identify and address technical debt, improve model performance, and build dynamic, reusable solutions
  • Drive outcomes for key business projects as our Anaplan specialist, building new processes and methods to anticipate future needs

 

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience as an Anaplan Model Builder or Anaplan Solution Architect
  • Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining complex, large-scale Anaplan models from scratch
  • Strong understanding of Anaplan's architecture, including data integration (e.g., CloudWorks, Anaplan Connect), Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), and security best practices
  • Experience translating complex business requirements and multi-dimensional planning scenarios into efficient and scalable Anaplan solutions
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with data warehouses

 

We prefer:

  • Anaplan Certified Master Anaplanner or Certified Solution Architect
  • 5+ years of experience in a high-growth tech, operations, or manufacturing environment
  • Deep experience in Operations Planning, Supply Chain Planning, or complex FP&A modeling
  • Familiarity with Google's data stack (e.g., PLX, BigQuery) and data visualization tools (like Tableau, Looker Studio)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with an ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical partners

The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the role location or, if the role can be performed remote, the specific salary range for your preferred location, during the hiring process. 

Waymo employees are also eligible to participate in Waymo’s discretionary annual bonus program, equity incentive plan, and generous Company benefits program, subject to eligibility requirements. 

Salary Range
$125,000—$157,000 USD
