We are all committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone’s voice is heard and respected; a place where all Waymonauts thrive and have a deep sense of belonging. Our commitments to equity, inclusion and diversity (EID) guide the way.
To innovate beyond today’s impossible and serve the needs of diverse communities around the world, we know we must continuously bring together diverse viewpoints, skill sets, and problem-solving perspectives.
Being a Waymonaut means building for everyone. Whether you're shaping cutting-edge products or fostering a collaborative environment within our workplace, every Waymonaut is responsible for ensuring equity, inclusion, diversity, and belonging.
Before you even start to navigate where you want to go, you need to take a step back to think about the why."

Waymo has done an extremely good job of promoting and supporting their ERGs, not just superficially. That support means this is not just a job where I just show up and work, but rather a place where I can be part of a culture and find community.

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) embrace what makes us different while uniting us, creating a culture of belonging where we can all thrive. These voluntary, employee-led community groups are open to all employees. ERGs complement company culture efforts and help to seek, retain, and value people who represent the diversity of the world we live in.
Our mission is to celebrate and engage our culturally diverse Asian and Pacific Islander community, catalyze unique professional growth, and serve communities where we live and work.
We are Waymo’s ERG for Black employees, employees of African descent, and allies to the Black community. As an ERG, we aim to champion meaningful education opportunities, support personal and professional growth for Black employees, enable collaboration with external partners that support the Black community, and cultivate an anti-racist culture.
Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive community of Waymo employees in their experience as a member of their own unique family structure. We create space for learning together, sharing resources, fostering work/life balance, and connecting our families to the work we do.
Our mission is to connect and empower the Latinx workforce to create change in our industry. We are dedicated to educating, developing, connecting and recruiting the future leaders of tomorrow.
Waymo’s LGBTQ+ ERG is open to all Waymo employees who identify with or are allies to the LGBTQ+ community. We aim to support initiatives that ensure our environment is inviting, welcoming, and safe for everyone.
We are Waymo’s employee resource group for a diverse network of military veterans, military family members, and allies united by shared experience or connection to military service. We support each other, encourage respectful dialogue about issues affecting veterans, and serve together in our mission at Waymo and in communities where we live and work.
Our vision is to create a Waymo where women thrive. We empower, grow and retain Waymo women by fostering women’s sense of belonging, connecting women to development opportunities, and facilitating women’s engagement with internal and external partners.
